Talk by Brian Draper- Elgar’s Countryside (Thursday 22nd Sept)

We will be welcoming Brian Draper to our meeting on 22nd Sept. Brian last visited in 2014 when he gave a very enjoyable talk about Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale. on this occasion he will tell us about ELGAR’S COUNTRYSIDE – the rural scenery and townscapes that the composer knew and which influenced his music.

Trips Summer 2016

This year we are combining our outings with Belbroughton History Society. A good chance for the two societies to get together.

Visit to Coventry Transport Museum (newly refurbished) and to Coventry Cathedral with various guided tour options.  15th June. PLACES AVAILABLE.
