Remembering The Swinging 60s

Don’t worry if you are so young that you missed out on the Swinging 60s you can come along and find out just what the 60s was all about.
Join us in Clent Village Hall on Thursday 15th May at 8pm when Ray Sturdy will be our speaker. Members free entry and visitors £5- includes refreshments. Membership available at meeting.

In the 1960s Britain had a youth boom. There were new cars, motorways and petrol at 5/-(25p) a gallon!
The Beatles, the Twist, Twiggy, and Concorde arrived in a decade of change and revolution. There was a royal wedding, a moon walk and almost a nuclear war!
It was a very special period of modern history.

Don’t miss out. Come along.

*** Well behaved parents and grandparents are welcome too although some will no doubt be up, twisting the night away. ***
