This Saturday – 15th June 2024 – is the day to take a walk through our local history.
When? From 10am until 4pm
Where? At Clent Parish Hall, Church Ave, Clent ,DY9 9QT
Cost? Free entry.
Don’t worry about the weather, step inside the hall and enjoy the day exploring the displays arranged for you by the history societies of Clent, Belbroughton, Chaddesley Corbett, Romsley&Hunington, Hagley, Churchill and Blakedown. Members from each of the societies will be around if you have questions to ask- or if you have your own information to add. There will be books available to buy to help you dig further into all that history sitting on our doorsteps!!
Refreshments will be on sale, coffee, tea, soft drinks, cake, icecreams – at Clent Hub our shop /cafe adjoining the village hall – with tables to sit around outside and maybe soak up the sun .
- Parking is available to the rear of the hall or further along Church Avenue, towards the bridge.
