This is a beautiful introduction to Clent. It takes the form of an armchair ramble around the village of Clent. With the help of old postcards and their sometimes heavy nostalgia, such as:

With the photographs of holidaymakers enjoying grass sliding and picnics, the book is a happy reminder of those days of welcome escape, when workers from surrounding towns made their way to Clent.
