Our trips in May and June to Four Ashes Hall and to Hagley Park are fully booked. We are sorry to disappoint those who would like to have come along but numbers for both trips were limited. This is the second trip to Four Ashes arranged especially to give members who missed out on this visit last year a chance to explore this local house and its grounds.
For our SUMMER SPECIAL Margaret Hathaway has arranged a day visit to Gloucester and The Cotswolds. Our big summer trips are a highlight of the year. We travel by coach, explore some wonderful places and also have a chance to enjoy the company of other members of the society as well as perhaps fitting in some shopping along the way!

Tuesday 11th August we will head to the Cotswolds, Our first stop will be Gloucester Historic Docks….. Here we can enjoy a boat trip, if we wish or explore the city which not only has the Cathedral within easy reach but several interesting museums and a retail centre very close to the docks!
Later we travel on to Rodmarton House where we will be given a tour. The house is a supreme example of Arts and Crafts style and ideals. Sounds wonderful! Everything was done by hand , local stone and timber used, local craftsmen. The gardens are stunning and later we will be sitting down to enjoy an afternoon tea .
